About Ginger JackThe answer is YES!

Ginger Jack is an organic, non-alcoholic ginger drink that is brewed entirely using traditional methods. With plenty of fresh ginger, flavored with fresh mint, lime, lemon, (cane) sugar and a secret herb blend.

Ginger Jack goes way back

ESTD 2020

Ginger Jack is the brainchild of two friends, Jan Verhoeven and Frederic Bodson. In early 2020, they united their shared passion and ambition to create a healthy, but above all, delicious ginger drink. After 6 months of experimenting, trying every herb imaginable, and with much trial and error, Ginger Jack was born.

LOCAL & ARTISANAL

Ginger Jack is brewed locally and artisanally in a small press house in Lier and contains unique, high-quality ingredients such as organic ginger from Southeast Asia, Mediterranean lime and lemon, mint, and other secret herbs.

STRONG & INTENSE

Strong and intense! That's how Ginger Jack symbolizes our view of entrepreneurship. Hardworking, all-natural, and full of energy! Ginger Jack is made to boost your big and small life projects daily.
Ginger Jack is therefore also a metaphor for what we consider important in life. Sit down with your best friends and closest family members and enjoy what is good and healthy. Make time for each other, seek quality, and only be happy with the best. Seize your opportunities, make your plans, and fulfill your dreams.

Hit the road, Jack!

The story behind Ginger Jack

From small brew kettle to successful ginger drink: the story behind Ginger Jack

What started as a small experiment in a brew kettle grew in a few years into a beloved Belgian drink that more and more people are incorporating into their daily routine. The story of Ginger Jack begins in October 2020, in the midst of the corona pandemic. After the bankruptcy of cold-pressed juice concept Gingerwald, founder Jan Verhoeven decided not to let go of his passion for ginger and, together with former colleague Frederic Bodson, to start from scratch again. From that idea, Ginger Jack was born: a powerful, natural ginger drink that is now finding its way to thousands of enthusiasts.

Where initially only about one hundred bottles were produced per month, Ginger Jack grew into a brand that today produces more than 100,000 bottles per year. However, the basis always remained the same: a handcrafted artisanally brewed drink with lots of fresh ginger, a spicy taste, and a clear mission: to give people a healthy daily boost in a simple way.

From spicy Jack to golden Jane

The product range has expanded further in the meantime. In addition to the original Ginger Jack, Curcuma Jane, Ginger Jack's spicy sister based on turmeric, also appeared. Together they form a duo that is perfect for any time of day: from a spicy morning shot to a warming tea or refreshing mocktail.

Behind the scenes, new product developments are also being diligently worked on. Later this year, the company plans another expansion of its product range, although that remains a surprise for now.

Locally produced, with respect for ingredients

The drinks are artisanally produced with fresh ingredients using a cold-press juicing technique. The focus is not only on taste but also on sustainability. During the pressing process, ginger pulp and citrus fruit residues remain. Instead of letting these residual streams go to waste, they are given a second life. For example, Ginger Jack collaborates with Belgian startup CO•IN, which uses these ingredients to make essential oils.

Belgian roots, international ambitions

In recent years, the focus has mainly been on building a network of sales points in Belgium and the Netherlands. At the same time, online sales are also growing strongly. Today, Ginger Jack is cautiously taking steps towards international expansion, with an initial presence in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Romania.

What once started as a small idea in a difficult period has grown into a brand that inspires more and more people to start their day with a natural kick.

Ginger Jack kicks off again for a good cause

On April 19, the Belgian brand Ginger Jack will organize ‘Ginger Jack goes Gravel’ for the third time, a sporting gravel event for the benefit of To Walk Again. With this initiative, the company aims to bring cyclists together for a unique ride while raising money for an organization that helps people with physical disabilities get back into motion.

Following the success of previous editions, this third edition also promises to be a special day for both recreational and experienced gravel riders. Participants can look forward to a challenging course, a strong community atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, and the opportunity to use their passion for cycling for a good cause.

CYCLING FOR A BETTER FUTURE

With Ginger Jack goes Gravel, the team behind Ginger Jack aims to bring together sports, solidarity, and community. The proceeds from the event will go to To Walk Again, an organization that helps people with physical disabilities to become active again and participate in sports and rehabilitation.

By participating in the event, cyclists not only contribute to a great day on the bike but also make a tangible societal difference.

SPECIAL EDITION BOTTLES FOR A GOOD CAUSE

To mark the third edition, Ginger Jack is also launching a limited edition of Ginger Jack and Curcuma Jane. 1,500 bottles of both variants will be released. They cost the same as the original bottles, but €3 per bottle goes directly to the charity To Walk Again.

The bottles also have a unique appearance thanks to an exclusive artwork by ArtNouvélo. Each bottle also contains a raffle number, giving buyers a chance to win various prizes, including a signed jersey from Wout van Aert.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME AT GINGER JACK GOES GRAVEL

With Ginger Jack goes Gravel, the brand primarily aims to bring people together around sports, health, and solidarity. Both experienced gravel riders and enthusiastic cyclists who want to support a good cause are welcome.
